everything is liminal
remember, forget, remember, defragment
life coalesces
into a cherry, a rose, an almond —
life coalesces into you.
the breeze speaks a tongueless language,
yet you understand.
you have seen the nod of a wise tree in your direction
and you have seen the clouds’ displays of symbolism
and you have known before
and you will know again
~~~
your hands peel into the center of me, untying knots in a thin gold chain strung through a heart, tangled with earrings and bracelets and tarnished jewelry of unknown origin.
you watch the unfolding, hold unraveling gold with an open palm, separate the real from the costume.
defragmented.
do you feel it, too?
how you frag men ted your self
when you believed you
had the answer.
ha!
The Answer is to breathe and feel and open, and to recognise, in everything, everything, there god is. in every phrase rolled through your pen, in every willowing moment, filling every swath of open space. every soft green molded blackberry, every diamond missing from your grandmother’s ring. in the color burgundy and the coffee steeped for far too long, but that is still luscious with cream.
recognise.
re-cognise.
fear as a portal.
desire. pain. grief. love.
portal.
love, the truth of your heart.
love, the fact of being.
love.
here.
love surrenders sweet.
love, a softening.
love, the gift most terrifying.
love as presence.
love, the dancer, the dance.
love, your favourite colours, the perfect jewelry, the incense sprawling through your hair. love, the scent enrobing every thread of every garment you wear.
love.
the liminal space in which all of you exists.
love.
blood red effervescence wades into the deep, full forest.
love.
the candied pantheress.
love, the enchantress.
love, a hummingbird longing for sugar water.
love, a rosy maple moth staring into you
with black orb eyes that free you from this
constant chrysalis.
your love, your heart, your fire.
your heart blooming, spilling forth with peonies.
rosewater dripping from your lips.
love, a blessing.
love, remembering.
