I love 5 rhythms for that - experimenting with ways of moving. And yeah, dance. Always and forever.

I've never been to a 5 rhythms class but I have read Gabrielle Roth's work and it is amazing what just focusing on the rhythms can loosen up in a person. Dance always and forever is right. Whenever I feel off, it's usually cause I need to dance!

The wiggly abyss, that is a hoot. thanks. Faye, my son Will Parker had a grappling teacher in Frederick Maryland 15 years ago whose name was Luke and he was a ninja.

You're well versed (ha ha!) in the wiggly abyss, Wes. I do wonder if the name Luke predilects one to become a ninja. Ya know, as part of the collective unconscious or something? Luke Skywalker weaves himself into anyone bestowed the name?

That name does have power. My son’s Luke taught ju jitsu. I was a full time carpenter almost twenty years ago when Luke offered to show me a thing or two. I was plenty strong from work but he wrapped me up in 7-8 seconds like I was a paper bag. It was awesome. He told me by way of being polite that I was one of the more powerful people he had handled and that I should pursue more of it but I was too worn out from making a living to do something like that for fun. I never told my boys how Luke manhandled me but I’m sure they would understand cause that dude had power and knowledge, a killer combo.

A killer combo indeed. I had a similar experience with jiu jitsu. No matter how powerful you are if you’re up against someone who knows how to read you better than you them, you’re in trouble! I did my best to squirm and bend out of the arm and leg prison,

but wheeeew. My Luke was a taekwondo guy, and his fried Dave teaches jiu jitsu. I’m gonna have to get myself some training
