As human beings, we have an immense capacity to heal ourselves and each other without needing buy or sell anything. We should pay more attention to that part of us. Totally. I was reading a post a couple days ago called the "coach industrial complex." It's definitely the pervading mindset these days. A little freaky.
Yeah and it’s honestly kinda irritating too. Like a part of me asks “Why didn’t I jump all over that before it became so obvious what was going on? I could have made so much money.” And the other much larger part of me says, “You always felt a lil weird and icky about claiming you were some expert in areas where you’re most assuredly not and it felt manipulative to try to convince others to pay you high fucking dollar when you maybe only had a few wisdom gems that could support them.” A large part of why I removed myself from Facebook and Instagram was in order to free my consciousness from the perpetual group speak that seems to be so common. I’m all for people receiving their value in life, myself included, for sure! And also, it feels weird to hold lil nuggets of wisdom and information out there for such high dollar values. Like I can learn all sorts of things from a mentor who has been in an industry that I want to learn about for far less than many coaches these days are charging. Anyways...this is a complex topic with so many layers. Im glad to hear about it from a distance and not be in the algorithmic echo chambers any more 😉
